Summer & Brad's Backyard Wedding

Wedding Photography | Photos by Martina

Welcome to Summer & Brad’s backyard wedding! Their story began about two and a half years ago when they meet in Georgia. They decide to go out on a date and they hit it off right away. Not only did Summer become Brad’s new wife, she became a mom to Brad’s two children. Their daughter was the flower girl and their son was a ring bearer.

They had a beautiful wedding at Summer’s grandmother’s house, located in south Austin. They had friends, family and neighbors witness their union together. The ceremony was beautiful and Summer looked amazing in her dress! I loved her bouquet, it had so many unique types of flowers and succulents. They also had a live, country musician playing guitar and singing in their backyard. It was one of my favorite parts of their wedding. And of course, no Texas wedding would be complete without Rudy’s BBQ for lunch, along with coconut and red velvet cake for dessert. It was a memorable day they will never forget. Here are some of my favorites!

Neddie Ann & Camden's Downtown Wedding

It’s my first blog post for the summer! I took some time off in May to prepare for the Bridal Extravaganza show in June. I'm happy to say, the show was a big success! Now, I'm back to sharing more love stories and beautiful austin wedding photography. I'm so excited to share these sneak peeks from Neddie Ann & Camden's wedding on June 17th.

Neddie Ann and Camden’s story began about three years ago, when they met in college. They both attended Texas A&M University in College Station. When they first met, they quickly became friends. Camden knew almost right away that Neddie Ann was special. They have been together ever since! Both graduated college and are now living in Austin.

They were married at the University Christian Church, located in the heart of downtown Austin. It’s a beautiful location, across from the picturesque Littlefield Fountain in front of the UT Tower. They celebrated the rest of the evening with their friends and family at Freedman’s, enjoying a BBQ dinner where they shared stories and congratulatory toasts. They also had a delicious cake (of course) and they danced the night away.

A Wedding Story: Darlene & Fernando

Austin wedding photography at the Dunvegan Keep

Photos from Fernando & Darlene's beautiful fairy-tale wedding, at the Dunvegan Keep in Austin, Texas. The Dunvegan Keep is an old-world estate, with a beautiful garden and romantic charm. There are so many spots to take photos, with little surprises around every corner. It was raining, but that didn't stop us from creating some amazing works of art!

I documented how theses two met and shared more about their engagement story, last month. Their wedding was so sweet and they even included their pups into the ceremony. Nova (the little one) had an important job, she was their ring-bearer! Following their union, they had dinner and shared stories, toasted and gave thanks, and then danced the night away. Congratulations to the newly weds! Everyone had so much fun and I captured some memorable moments from the night. Thank you so much for the opportunity, I hope you enjoy them :)

A Wedding Story: Dessimber & John

Austin Wedding Photography at the Wildflower Barn

Dessimber & John's story started several years ago, when they met in San Antonio. They connected over their love of art. John works at a coffee shop, and Dessimber is a nurse. These two are both warm, caring and genuinely good people. Working with this couple, reminds me why I do what I do--because I love making real connections with my couples. I can call these two friends now and I'm looking forward to watching their love grow!

John and Dessimber got married at the beautiful Wildflower Barn, in Driftwood Texas on Saturday, November 19th. I have to say, their wedding was one of the best weddings I've been too. I don't know if it was the cold weather, hot chocolate, smoores or the happy vibes in the air, but it brought everyone closer together. Dessimber and John put so much thought into the details and made their guests feel like their number one priority. Dessimber handmade the invitations. They incorporated handwritten signs, fall elements, wood workings and colorful embellishments to tie it all together to make it feel like an enchanted forest. Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous, intimate, and unique to their personalities. Congratulations you two!! <3
